Steinberg Hart is ranked as the #23 architecture firm in the nation by Architect magazine on its annual Architect 50 list. As one of the most prestigious annual rankings report in the industry, the Architect 50 evaluates firms across the nation based on our overall success as a business, our commitment to sustainability, and design excellence.
We made strides in our design rankings this year, which were based on a jury evaluation of a design portfolio, firmwide licensure, pro-bono work, research initiatives, and design awards. Business rankings are drawn from net revenue per employee, profitability, overall business practices including diversity, and employee benefits. There, we earned the #16 spot among the 180 submitting firms. Finally, sustainability scores were measured against the 2030 commitment, energy and water metrics for this year’s projects, and employee and building certifications.
After making our debut on the list at #25 last year, 2019’s ranking is reflective of our commitment to design excellence and our dedication to continued progress. This year’s design portfolio focused on:
Titan Student Union at CSU Fullerton
Suffolk Construction’s San Francisco Office
McGregor Computer Science Center at Harvey Mudd College
Invicta Towers
