AUSTIN, Texas – Jan. 7, 2022 – Steinberg Hart, an international architecture and design firm, announced it has expanded its presence in Texas to include an office in Austin. With a history of over 30 years of architecture and design projects located in Texas, Steinberg Hart is already a key player in the state with significant completed projects, as well as standing out as an instrumental voice in the Texas architectural community.
“We are delighted to open an office in Texas,” said Douglas Moss, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB, Partner. “Being from Texas myself, and with four other partners in the firm from Texas, we have strong connections and ties to the community. We look forward to bringing our urban mixed-use experience to Texas in addition to the higher education, performing arts, library, and city hall experiences we’ve completed over the years.” After 31 years in the New York City office, Moss has relocated to Austin to run the office.
Most recently, Steinberg Hart completed the Wylie Municipal Complex in Wylie; a planning study for the City of Richardson’s Library and City Hall; and an Arts Feasibility Study for downtown Arlington; and is currently working on the design and development of multiple urban mixed-use projects in central Texas with developers such as Morgan Group, PlaceMKR, and Townbridge Capital. In addition, the firm is working on multiple projects in Taylor, Texas, the recently announced home for Samsung’s latest advanced semiconductor fabrication site.
