At last night’s PCBC 60th Annual Gold Nugget Award Gala, Steinberg Hart’s Ohio Street Probation Facility won the 2023 Gold Nugget Grand Award for Best Special Use Project! The project seamlessly integrates traditional probation services with community opportunities for the mutual benefit of clients and the broader community.

The new 21,000 SF facility focuses on providing holistic assistance to clients, expanding their access to opportunities, and promoting engagement with the community and the building locates new offices closer to the communities where clients live and work. The building’s design reduces access barriers and designs trauma-informed areas that create more cooperation and success for the individuals whom probation supervises.

The firm’s Wilshire & La Jolla Tower and Southwest Village Apartments were recognized with Awards of Merit for Best Mixed Use Project and Best On-the-Boards Affordable Housing Community.
