We’re thrilled to break ground on the Undergraduate Teaching and Learning Facility (UTLF) at UC Riverside! Designed by Steinberg Hart in partnership with McCarthy Builders. This state-of-the-art building will provide lecture halls, classrooms, labs, and a dance studio all helping to foster collaboration across the College of Natural & Agricultural Sciences, The College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, and the Bourns College of Engineering.

The design maximizes interdisciplinary interaction, with flexible labs and spaces that encourage cross-discipline learning—where science students and dancers alike can explore diverse fields. The building will also serve as a new gateway entry to campus, blending with the surrounding environment while enhancing student experiences with a welcoming courtyard and pedestrian-friendly spaces.
