Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life
The Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life is an urban intergenerational, mixed-use campus for the local and regional Jewish community where individuals and families can live, learn, play, and connect. The facility is anchored by the Moldaw Family Residences by The Jewish Home—a modern continuing care retirement community—and the world-class Oshman Family Jewish Community Center (JCC). Through its diverse programmatic mix, this new campus invites the broader community to participate in extensive educational, social, wellness, cultural and recreational opportunities.
The campus is designed as a pedestrian-friendly “village” with multiple outdoor communal rooms and meandering, asymmetric “walk streets” that offer opportunities for senior residents to engage with individuals of all ages as they participate in activities and organizations within the campus. Adopting a residential rather than institutional model, the complex is designed as a group of eight buildings linked by transparent bridges distributing the many social gathering and programmatic spaces through the senior community.
