The complex includes the County of San Diego Registrar of Voters, County Sheriff’s Probation Work Projects and Work Furlough Program, County Mail Services, County Auditor, and County Tax Collector. The $38 million, 118,500 SF project was designed to collocate and consolidate administration, operations and warehouse facilities in one building. Staff offices and workstations occupy the two-story glazed portion of the building, which is backed by a high bay, one story warehouse accommodating ballot processing, production, storage. Multi-purpose spaces accommodate vote tabulation operations during election cycles while providing training and assembly spaces for other County departments on a day-to-day basis.
