The freshman residence hall situated on the north houses students in 1- and 2-bedroom units with communal restrooms. Three wings on each floor of the building provide students access to a bevy of amenities including multiple student study rooms, a central “media hall” for larger group study and access to technology, and a central student living room for opportunities to socialize and relax outside of their bedrooms. The ground floor has additional study rooms, a community kitchen, and a gaming lounge that connects directly to the large courtyard area and creates fantastic opportunities for indoor/outdoor living in the enviable coastal climate. 

Located south of Palm Walk, the upper division residence hall has similar resident amenities with very different options for living styles. One alternative offers 5-bedroom apartments, each with two double bedrooms, a single bedroom, as well as a living space and kitchen. The second option delivers a unique typology developed specifically for LMU which provide housing for students in a co-living pod style. The “pods” house approximately 19 students in single and double bedrooms. The pods have group study rooms, a shared sink area with a private toilet and shower rooms, and an oversized living room and kitchen. The building’s private courtyards provide areas to get away, study, socialize, and relax, along with seating stairs that act as a perch for relaxing or a natural opportunity for events.
