Wilshire & La Jolla Tower Wins at Los Angeles Business Council Awards

Before 2023 came to a close, Steinberg Hart was honored at the 53rd Annual Los Angeles Architectural Awards, winning a 2023 LABC Los Angeles Architectural Award for our Wilshire and La Jolla Tower. The award ceremony, hosted by the Los Angeles Business Council, recognized more than four dozen architectural and design projects, including Wilshire and La Jolla Tower, that change not only the way we live today, but how we will evolve going forward.

At the Sunset Room in Hollywood, with hundreds of leading architects, designers, business leaders, city and state officials in attendance, a representative from Steinberg Hart accepted the award on behalf of the project team.

Hundreds of projects from all over L.A. County competed in categories ranging from hospitality to landscape architecture. The winners were selected by a jury panel of industry experts, including architects, construction firms, owners and developers.

Steinberg Hart’s Wilshire and La Jolla Tower was selected for the 2023 LABC Los Angeles Architectural Award in the category of Mixed-Use Projects, a prestigious honor which recognizes a select group of architects, developers, contractors, and owners who have helped to enhance the Los Angeles urban environment over the last two years. Congratulations to our valued clients and partners at Madison Realty Capital and Gilbane Building Company.

“The LABC is honoring projects that improve communities and neighborhoods in substantial and intentional ways,” said Mary Leslie, president of the Los Angeles Business Council. “Our honorees embody innovative designs that were not only crafted to reflect the needs and dreams of the people they were designed for, but created as spaces that facilitate progress.”

Jeanne Gang, globally renowned urban architect known for her award-winning portfolio and design approach she calls “actionable idealism”, gave the event’s keynote address.
