Amelia is inspired by the built environment and its effect on the intangible character of a city. Prior to receiving a Masters in Architecture from UCLA, Amelia had a successful career in the tech industry. She draws on problem solving philosophies from that industry to inform her process as a designer. As an architect, Amelia has worked on complex projects in education, workplace innovation, urban strategy, and tenant improvement. Amelia finds the contrasting tension of working between small and large scales invigorating and enjoys problem solving across a range of design challenges – from millwork to master planning.
A lifelong traveler, Amelia enjoys exploring urban and natural habitats on foot. When not at work or traveling, she is hard at work refining her tennis and crossword game.
