Jason Briscoe is Managing Partner for the firm’s Shanghai office, where he has worked with clients and design teams to establish design goals, work plans, budgets, and quality control procedures that meet the fast-paced demands of the Chinese design and construction market since 2010. He has been able to merge his knowledge of western management strategies with a deep appreciation for Chinese design culture in order to enhance the quality and efficiency of the firm’s work in China.
Jason Briscoe has led the design and planning efforts for award-winning projects in the United States and abroad. His experience and management style engender a partnering relationship with clients that results in mutual trust and loyalty. Jason’s emphasis on listening to the needs, concerns, and expectations of clients, user groups, and communities has led to a widely varied portfolio of design projects in which form and character are the product of culture, values and physical context. He has enjoyed working on a multitude of project types including civic, education, commercial, and residential development.
Jason serves on the Executive Committee of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Shanghai chapter as the current Vice President and has previously severed on the Board of the American Institute of Architects California Council and as the President of AIA Orange County. His leadership positions have broadened his opportunities to influence the quality of the built environment. His focused efforts on creating greater interaction among architects, related professionals, institutions, and community leaders have aided in the sharing of knowledge, advancement of ideas, and better-informed solutions for the built environment.
